Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Cameron, TX, is looking for an Industrial Maintenance person. Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Qualifications:

  • Previous experience (1-3 years) within an industrial environment as a maintenance technician. Experience with Injection Molding and/or Extrusion Equipment a plus but not required.
  • Operate and maintain all DC and AC electrical control systems including electrical motor and drive systems.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing of simple to complex control systems utilizing PLC’s.
  • Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skills with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (control and 480 V).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings and schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, and pumping systems.
  • Excellent safety and attendance record.
  • Ability to provide personal hand tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Welding and brazing of materials
  • Select and uses different lubrication products
  • Assemble, repair and modify power transmission equipment
  • Select, maintain and install bearings
  • Maintain and install pumps
  • Layout and installation of piping and tubing systems
  • Understand and assist in trouble shooting basic electrical systems
  • Use electrical measuring and diagnostic equipment

Experience or Training Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience within an industrial environment as a maintenance technician
