Job Description

The Maintenance Technician supports daily production operations while helping maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. This role is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production equipment and the facility.

This position plays a key role in ensuring consistent operation and minimizing production downtime. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and able to support both people and processes in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

  • Build electrical panels, install power drops, wire motors
  • Install and service electronic equipment
  • Load and troubleshoot PLC Ladder Logic – Allen Bradley, Siemens and DeviceNet Program Fanuc robots
  • Execute and improve preventative maintenance Perform fast-paced repairs to minimize production downtime
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex machinery
  • Safely operate hand tools, shop tools and operational equipment
  • Adhere to safety protocols to prevent unexpected machine startup during maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of completed repairs, equipment status, and parts used
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Multi-discipline skills with Robotics, Machine Repair and Electrical systems – certification, license or associate degree required.
  • Ability to operate the forklift and/or scissor lift a safe manner and gain license within 3 business days
  • Previous experience in a production environment
  • Ability to interpret reports & analyze data
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Must be able to:

  • Lift, bend and reach, including below waist level and above shoulder level
  • Lift, push and pull weights of up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally
  • Work daily overtime and weekend support as dictated by production schedule.

  • Operate industrial equipment
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
