We now have an immediate vacancy in our Slane Factory for a Maintenance Electrician.
Reporting to the Factory Manager, the successful Candidate will have key responsibilities as follows:
-Provide maintenance support to production operations.
-Maintain production equipment through preventative and reactive organisation.
-Perform routine fabrication assignments as directed.
-Perform testing to ensure machinery is operating correctly and safely.
-Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimum specifications.
-Supervise a scheduled programme periodically for maintenance shutdown.
Requirements:
-Recognised National qualification / apprenticeship.
-Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Team player who can also work on their own initiative.
-Good overall knowledge of conveyors, elevators and screening systems.
-Good overall knowledge of PLC’s and programming.
-Experience of working with weighing systems.
-Basic computer knowledge essential.
