About the Role

The JBS Pork Australia – Maintenance team is currently recruiting a Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Laverton on a fulltime capacity, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will be responsible for providing efficient and effective repair and maintenance services for electrical facilities and equipment. The work involves urgent breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, and project/improvement work.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Respond to breakdowns and service calls.
• Perform regular PM checks.
• Electrical installation and repairs & maintenance.
• Monitor, follow-up and address issues associated with the implementation and process of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime is achieved by completing effective and efficient Electrical preventative maintenance when production is not running.
• Perform other duties as directed.

About You

• Hold a current Victorian A Class electrical licence.
• Knowledge of motor control and variable speed drives (Danfoss and Allan-Bradley).
• Sound understanding of PLC’s (Siemens & Allan-Bradley)
• Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Sound communication skills, initiative and strong attention to detail.
