What you will be doing:
We have an exciting opportunity within the Manufacturing Services function of the Civil Aerospace Assembly & Test organisation for an individual to join the team as a Maintenance Electrician reporting to the Manufacturing Services Leaders.
Initiallyworking a three-shift core for 1 year, there will then be theoptionof a 24/6½ overlay pattern (afterdemonstratingthe required competence)
Responsibilities:
In this role you willberesponsible forthe electrical maintenance, and repair of Test, Experimental and Production facilities equipment, plant, controlsystemsand machine tools, in addition you will:
Berequired tointerface effectively withCustomers, Suppliers and Manufacturing Services team members to optimise the overall performance of Assembly and Test organisation.
Undertake Electrical Installation whererequired

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
Completed an advanced modern apprenticeship* and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalentin an electrical discipline.
You will be keen to work safely in a modernteam basedenvironment andpossessa "can do" mentality and goodproblem solvingskills.
You must be able todemonstrateexperience in using a variety of testing & inspection equipment and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
You will have a professional and flexible attitude with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
You will be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
It is essential that you have an up-to-date working knowledge of health,safetyand environmental procedures, including COSHH.
