Maintenance Electrician – Philippines

Your role purpose

Your role is to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical systems across our Philippine offices and facilities. You will deliver electrical maintenance, repair, upgrade, and modification services that keep our technology-driven environments running smoothly, safely, and in full compliance with national standards.

Your role

You will be part of our Technology Infrastructure Team, working closely with our existing data cabling and audio-visual maintenance specialists. Together, you’ll ensure the ongoing functionality of power, lighting, and electrical systems that support our business operations across multiple locations nationwide.

You will perform both scheduled and reactive electrical maintenance, assist with new fitouts and system upgrades, and ensure full adherence to safety and compliance requirements. This hands-on role involves travel between company sites and coordination with local suppliers and contractors to deliver high-quality, compliant outcomes.

How you will add value

• Conduct scheduled preventive and reactive electrical maintenance across all company facilities.
• Diagnose, repair, and resolve electrical faults and failures promptly to minimize downtime.
• Install and upgrade electrical systems for new or expanded technology and facility projects.
• Support structured cabling, AV, and IT infrastructure deployments by ensuring adequate and compliant electrical provisioning.
• Maintain and update electrical records, diagrams, and maintenance logs for all locations.
• Ensure strict compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), Fire Code, and DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSH)
• Perform load analysis and energy efficiency improvements where applicable.
• Provide input and technical support for infrastructure expansion, renovation, and fitout projects.
• Ensure all work is performed with the highest regard for safety, using correct PPE and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Liaise with facilities management, IT, and technology teams to plan and prioritize maintenance works and upgrades.

Your Qualifications and Licensing Requirements

To legally perform electrical maintenance work in the Philippines, you must hold the appropriate professional and safety credentials, including:

• Registered Master Electrician (RME) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
• DOLE-accredited Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Training certification (Basic Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent).
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSH)
• At least 3–5 years of experience performing commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
• Familiarity with structured cabling, UPS systems, generators, and AV power setups is advantageous.
• Must be willing to travel to sites across the Philippines and perform on-call or after-hours maintenance when required.

Your Experience

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and system upgrades across multi-site environments.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret electrical schematics, plans, and load layouts.
• Experience collaborating with IT and facilities teams to deliver integrated technology projects.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to respond to issues under time pressure.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and suppliers for materials and compliance documentation.

Who you will be working with

You’ll be part of our Technology Infrastructure Team, working alongside data cabling specialists, AV maintenance technicians, and facilities coordinators You’ll also partner with IT operations, procurement, and project teams to ensure our sites remain compliant, reliable, and ready to support the business.

Success Profile

In the first 3 months, the successful incumbent is expected to have delivered:

• A complete understanding of all company facilities and their electrical systems.
• Established a preventive maintenance schedule and completed baseline site inspections.
• Built strong working relationships with AV, cabling, and facilities teams.
• Demonstrated understanding of company safety and compliance standards.

In the first 6 months, the successful incumbent is expected to have delivered:

• Successfully completed key maintenance and upgrade projects across multiple locations.
• Ensured all sites are compliant with PRC and DOLE regulations.
• Documented improvements in energy efficiency or system reliability.
• Become a trusted technical partner within the Technology Infrastructure team.
