We'relooking for a Maintenance Delivery Engineer to play a key role in improving the performance, reliability and maintenance of control valves and associated monitoring equipment across Anglian Water's network.
In this role,you'llprovide technicalexpertiseand analytical support to help optimise Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs), drive maintenance improvements and ensure our control valve assetsoperateefficiently and effectively. Working closely with Maintenance Delivery, System Optimisation, Network Operations and Alliance partners,you'lluse data and engineering insight toidentifyopportunities, improveprocessesand support the delivery of excellent customer and environmental outcomes.
Whatyou'llbe doing
Providing technical support and engineeringexpertiseto Maintenance Delivery, SystemOptimisationand operational teams.
Identifyingopportunities to improve the performance,reliabilityand maintenance of PRVs and wider control valve assets.
Analysing pressure,flowand operational data toidentifymaintenance priorities and optimisation opportunities.
Supporting the planning and delivery of proactive maintenance programmes across the control valve estate.
Managing andmaintainingdata relating to asset performance, maintenanceactivitiesand optimisation opportunities.
Working collaboratively with internal teams,contractorsand suppliers to minimise network and customer impact during maintenance and improvement activities.
Supporting the implementation of new optimisation schemes andfacilitatingsmooth handovers into operational maintenance.
Driving improvements in maintenance processes, reporting and ways of working through data-led decision making.
Supporting governance and data quality activities, ensuring asset information and monitoring systemsremainaccurateand aligned to company standards.
Identifyingopportunities for cost efficiencies, improved assetperformanceand enhanced operational effectiveness across the maintenance workstream.
Developing andmaintainingmonitoring,alarmand reporting systems for PRV controllers and associated equipment.
Championing continuous improvement,innovationand best practice across the business.
Whatwe'relooking for
Experience within water network operations, maintenance, assetmanagementor a related engineering environment.
Strong understanding of water distribution systems, pressuremanagementand control valve operation.
Experience analysing operational, pressure and flow data to support decision making and performance improvements.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability toidentifypractical engineering solutions.
Strong communicationand stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
Experience managing asset data, performanceinformationand reporting tools.
Good understanding of health,safetyand compliance requirements within an operational environment.
Strong IT and systems skills, including experience working with asset,maintenanceor monitoring platforms.
Ability toidentifyopportunities for process improvement and implement more efficient ways of working.
NRSWAAccreditation.(Essential)
GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths andEnglish.(Essential)
Water industry qualifications such as Distribution Control NVQ, Leakage Control NVQ or BPEC Water Supply Regulations qualification.(Desirable)
Experience with PRV optimisation, network performance improvementprogrammesor control valvemaintenance.(Desirable)
NRSWA Supervisor, Water Hygiene or Confined Spacesqualifications.(Desirable)
