Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated and dependable professional to join our team at one of our managed properties in Fort Lauderdale, FL as a Maintenance Custodian. Join Associa as a Maintenance Custodian and contribute to the upkeep and functionality of our managed properties. We are seeking a reliable individual with a passion for ensuring a safe and well-maintained living environment for our residents.

Compensation/Pay:

This is an hourly position with pay in the area of $18.00 per hour.

Schedule:

We are currently looking to fill a full-time position, which also includes eligibility for full benefits and PTO.

Our Maintenance Custodians play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and the value of their properties by:

  • Perform routine upkeep and cleaning of facilities to ensure that the appearance and condition of buildings do not deteriorate.
  • Perform maintenance cleaning at communal facilities only to ensure that the community buildings are properly maintained.
  • Clean and building fixtures windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
  • Operate and perform routine maintenance cleanings and upkeep as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients
  • Knowledge of general maintenancecleaning procedures, (power washer, windows, screens, floors, carpeting, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
  • Ability to safely operate, climb and perform work on ladders (1-2 stories) – 24-28ft.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • 3 -- 5 years of directly related or closely related experience
