We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join us on a 12 month FTC at the Port of Liverpool.
As a Maintenance Coordinator. you will create efficient weekly and monthly engineering plans, ensuring every maintenance activity is well‑resourced and aligned for maximum operational impact. You will work closely with managers, supervisors and operations teams, using performance data to support smarter decisions and continuous improvement.
You will also maintain high‑quality MMS data, manage work orders from start to finish, and coordinate with third‑party suppliers to deliver statutory and planned works on time. If you enjoy structure, teamwork and seeing a well‑executed plan come to life, this FTC offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
You will need the ability to work independently, plan a busy workload and create effective engineering schedules using recognised planning tools. A technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally from an apprenticeship, technical training or experience with heavy or port equipment is preferable, along with strong communication skills, solid MS Office ability and a good understanding of key Health & Safety legislation.
You should also bring strong analytical skills, confidence working with CMMS systems, and the drive to collaborate, influence and continuously improve. Knowledge and hands on experience of the SAP Fiori EAM [Enterprise Asset Management] planning tool functionality is essential.
