About Role

As the Maintenance Commercial Lead, you will develop and implement the commercial strategy that supports safe, efficient, and cost‑effective maintenance across the Stanlow site. You will oversee a significant portion of the annual maintenance spend and lead commercial performance across a large contractor workforce.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the full sourcing and contracting process, from strategy through to negotiation and mobilisation
  • Implement and enforce the commercial control framework covering change control, performance management, and audit compliance
  • Oversee financial governance, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
  • Drive supplier performance to ensure productivity, quality, and compliance with site standards
  • Work closely with Maintenance and Turnaround teams to support planning, daily execution, and major shutdown events

This is a high‑impact role that combines commercial leadership with operational engagement in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

About You

You will be an experienced commercial or contract management professional with a strong background in industrial, manufacturing or energy environments. You’re confident leading complex, high‑value contracts and building constructive relationships with both internal teams and senior supplier leaders.

  • High digital capability, ideally with experience using cost‑management or ERP systems
  • A flexible, calm and proactive approach, able to manage shifting priorities and fast‑moving situations
