Job Description

  • Perform inventory cycle count.
  • Receive parts deliveries at loading dock and into inventory in the Maintenance Parts Room.
  • Aid mechanics in finding the correct parts.
  • Ensure all changes to the inventory are made promptly and accurately.
  • Perform general organizational and data entry tasks.
  • Perform other tasks as directed.
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel; comfortable learning and using inventory control software.
  • Organized, excellent time management, and attention to detail.
  • Reliable; excellent attendance.
  • Willingness and ability to grow and learn additional skills.
  • Able to adapt to new duties quickly and work independently.

Physical Requirements

  • Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
  • Frequently sit for long periods.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • May be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
  • May be exposed to damp, wet, and cold environments.
  • Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
