ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Maintenance Clerk is responsible for the general cleaning of the store.

• Cleaning and disinfecting all bathrooms.
• Emptying and clearing garbage outside, around the store, and in offices.
• Sweeping and mopping offices.
• Cleaning team member breakroom.
• Cleaning the front porch of store, including parking lot.
• Ordering and restocking supplies for bathrooms, breakroom, and supply closet as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized supply closet and mop room including hanging mops and rinsing mop bucket.
• Ensure cleaning spray bottles are filled and available at each checkstand.
• Keeping parking lot clear of carts and returning them to proper store location.
• Removing clutter from carts & wiping them down before putting them away.
• Work on special projects, other assignments or tasks as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• No previous experience needed only a willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate with others.
• May be required to use cleaning products, and equipment including but not limited to brooms, mops, baler, trash compactor or other equipment.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS

Ability to stand for an extended period of time. Able to lift 50 pounds frequently. Move and handle merchandise and products with constant manual dexterity.
