YOUR FUTURE TEAM

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of a small team of maintenance attendants and technicians, responsible for responding to guest maintenance requests of the hotel.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Proceed to visual inspection of the equipment
• Actively participate in preventive building maintenance procedures
• Perform daily maintenance work and reflect their activities in their schedule
• Perform interior and exterior work
• Report any defective systems and make the necessary corrections
• Possibility of gathering materiel outside the property
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects by move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder
• Responsible for maintaining all mechanical component of the building under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor
• Proceed to minor electrical work (ex: light bulbs change)
• Ensure that service manuals are follow during preventive maintenance, repair or replacement of systems or components and adhere to sound engineering practices, building codes and health & safety precautions

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
• High school diploma completed; a vocational diploma (DEP) in General Building Maintenance is an asset
• Friendly, eager to learn, and professional
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Building mechanical skills or relevant experience required
• Strong communication skills with various departments including facilities, housekeeping, front desk, and tenants (if applicable)
