Servequip Ltd is a company in the Maintenance and Rental of Material Handling Equipment, including Port cranes.

Job Purpose:
The Maintenance Assistant will assist the maintenance team by ensuring cleanliness and basic upkeep of cranes and facilities, supporting routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring that the work areas are clean, organized, and safe. This role plays a key part in maintaining a functional and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning and greasing duties on cranes and common areas.
• Assist maintenance staff with basic tasks including carrying tools, materials, and equipment.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables according to facility policies.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces used by maintenance personnel.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning rounds.
• Support minor repair or setup tasks under supervision
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ability to work at height
• Will be required to work in noisy, dirty, or cramped environments.
• Use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
Job Requirements:
• Primary school certificate.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights and perform manual tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
• Certificate of character
