Maintenance Assistant

Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the facility, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks

  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

  • Support facility improvement projects as assigned

  • Assist with inspections and identify maintenance needs

Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance experience preferred

  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques

  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable attendance and dependability required
