Job Description

The role

Working in our fast paced, Stadium 2 warehouse with the leading technologies in warehousing and logistics, our Maintenance Assistants will work alongside a team of apprentice trained engineers, maintaining state of the art systems to ensure a smooth flow through the Warehouse. The position is a 42 hour average working 12 hour day and night shifts (including weekends).

What you'll take on

  • Work closely with the Maintenance Engineers and Site Maintenance Managers on repairs and breakdowns.
  • Follow Health & Safety requirements at all times
  • Use the correct PPE provided when carrying out tasks
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and clear blockages and jams
  • Cleaning of all equipment following approved company methods
  • Carry out routine tasks on ancillary equipment and monitor system performance
  • Complete paperwork and hand to Site Maintenance Engineer.

What you'll bring

  • The ability to prioritise and manage own workload, with excellent organisational and problem solving skills
  • Be a real team player with a proven ability to take ownership for tasks and situations
  • Have a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work flexibly
  • Experience working in an automated warehouse would be an advantage
  • Willingness to follow instructions
  • Computer literate
