This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.
The Maintenance and Reliability Planning Lead will plan moderately complex maintenance on our plant assets and equipment following established program guidelines. In this role, you will develop unique job plans to improve the work force efficiency and quality by identifying the elements of an executable work package. You will be planning the maintenance of Port equipment to ensure maximum uptime, providing advanced knowledge of consistent maintenance and reliability best practices in the completion of planning and prioritizing moderately complex tasks, while supporting maintenance planning activities through SAP systems and coordinating closely with Operations to ensure effective execution of maintenance plans.
Location: Alexandria, Egypt. Worksite-based position
• Research and compile information and feedback from crafts and operational stakeholders necessary to generate highly effective and detailed job plans.
• Initiate the procurement of materials, special tools and unique items required in the job plans using relevant maintenance programs and database tools, in collaboration with Purchasing and Inventory teams.
• Transition capital improvement projects from project stage to operations and update information in the database to reflect the improvement, addition, or deletion of equipment and their associated spare parts and maintenance procedures.
• Prepare and provide detailed job plans for moderately complex preventative maintenance activities that comply with fundamental plant maintenance procedures and practices across mechanical, electrical and structural maintenance activities.
• Plan and schedule maintenance downtime and communicate cross functionally with technical and management teams to minimize production impact and improve reliability, while ensuring alignment between Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Maintain custom databases through SAP system to support specific work projects and processes.
• Engage in continuous improvement planning to enhance on time performance of technical activities and support maintenance KPI tracking and reporting.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electromechanical or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance planning experience.
• Experience working with maintenance planning systems, SAP or other relevant CMMS systems.
• Fluent English and Arabic language skills.
• Other minimum qualifications may apply.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Continuous improvement experience like lean or six sigma.
• Experience in grain handling, bulk material handling, heavy industrial or similar process manufacturing environments.
