Job Description

Position : Maintenance and Engineering Manager (Budget 70-100K)

Responsibilities:

Control the operations of Thailand Maintenance Team to achieve planned maintenance levels and consistent quality at optimum cost.

With two key focus areas:

1. Preventative maintenance systems - develop, implement PM's, ensure that the PM's are carried out for key pieces of equipment.

2. Maintenance safety systems - implement permit and contractor induction systems to ensure safe work practices by maintenance team

- Production Achievement: Plans daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and ensures that these maintenance activities are met.

- Safety: Ensure and Meets Group and site HS&E minimum standards.

- Meets statutory requirements under the Occupational Heath and safety Act.

Ensures:
Addresses issues raised in plant audits within agreed timeframe,

Active role in OH&S committee, and

Devises and implements plans to raise HS&E standards on site.

Implements and maintains:
Maintenance Safety Systems.

Contractor Induction & Management Systems.
Develops, implements and controls:

Risk assessments,

Job safety analyses.

- Observes the requirements of Environmental protocols.

- Develops, implements and drives action plans to achieve stated business and personal objectives.

- Develops and manages personal work plan objectives for immediate subordinates. These must flow in a logical path from the business plan objectives.

- Controls costs relative to sales levels in the areas of labor, material usage, transport, packaging and energy.

- Leads maintenance staff to achieve productivity, quality and service objectives as delineated in site industrial agreements.

- Controls staff with respect to working hours, discipline, absenteeism and training with regard to the needs of the operations.

- Controls staff deployment, manages absenteeism, determines training and development deficiencies, creates and implements plans to solve these issues for the production team.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor in Engineering fields
• At least 7-10 years experience in Maintenance or Engineering manufacturing management.
• This experience should be gained in a large, complex business, undergoing change with integrated Able to maintain and develop positive customer relations
• Experience in industrial relations negotiations.
• Result Oriented and strong leadership type of people
• English communication business level
