
Performs a wide variety of complicated maintenance work, involving setup, installation, alteration, repair or rearrangement of machines, facilities, or equipment and their related controls. Will work a substantial portion of the time in the electric and mechanical skill or trade. Will be required to perform maintenance work other than own specialty.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10pm-6am
For controlled area assignments, must be able to successfully pass the Nuclear Safety Training Test, must wear protective clothing, and follow strict radiation protection, criticality, and industrial safety regulations. Must be medically and mentally capable of wearing appropriate respiratory equipment. Must pass all required IROFS testing elements.
Required to work shift work in accordance with business needs. Will be expected to respond to scheduled overtime, hold over or emergency call-in as required. May require employee wear a pager or cell phone. Able to handle heavy materials with forklifts, cranes and manually as required. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and manipulate bulky, heavy machine tools and parts, sometimes in awkward positions. Must be able to climb and work at elevated levels. Corrected 20/20 vision and color distinction.
Please note that this position requires a comprehensive onboarding and training period of approximately 12 weeks. During this time, the successful candidate must be available to work exclusively on the day shift, regardless of the ultimate shift assignment for the permanent role.
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $37.48/hour. After 6 months of satisfactory performance the pay will increase to $42.38/hour. While working the off-shift, you will receive an additional night-shift adder of $1, this transitions to 10% after 5 years of service.
Other working hours and supporting OT may vary to support business need.
