Flex-N-Gate is seeking a skilled an dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and building infrastructure. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring the facility operates safely and effectively.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems
• Install and maintain pumps, air handling systems, refrigeration equipment, and related components
• Inspect equipment and facility to identify issues and recommend improvement to reduce downtime
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and work orders
• Use hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Complete maintenance records, work orders, and reports accurately
• Support building renovations, facility upgrades, and construction projects
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, and general building repairs
• Assist with snow removal and facility safety during inclement weather
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, contractors and team members
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent mechanical/electrical trade experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and facility maintenance
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work instructions
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to perform small repairs (e.g. caulking, replacing washers, and replacing light fixtures).

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/production facility environment
• Moderate to high noise levels
• May be exposed to extreme heat in certain production areas
• Requires adherence to strict safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work both indoors and outdoors
• Physical ability to lift up to 75lb
