We are seeking experienced Maintenance professionals to join our maintenance team that supports many aspects of the operations at our MARSHALLTOWN facilities located at our Bushnell, IL location. The MasterMaintenance Technician performs highly diversified duties, including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machines and equipment. Assisting in determining needs by predictive maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement measures.

The Maintenance Team Members will be paid hourly from $20.25/hour to $30.00/hour. The pay will depend upon experience and certifications held.

Essential Functions

  • Overseeing maintenance-related projects of a large variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment installation, fabrication of fixtures, preventive maintenance, and machine troubleshooting
  • Install, wire, and troubleshoot control devices, proximity sensors, switches, counters, relays, and VFDs
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repair on three-phase motors and control circuits
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose issues, repair/replace parts for, and test/adjust mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, parameter lists, fault code listings, and troubleshooting guides
  • Perform a variety of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, carpentry, and maintenance functions on a large variety of production equipment
  • Safely use various hand and power tools, multimeters, and material-handling equipment
  • All other duties as assigned

Senior Electrical Maintenance Additional Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing maintenance-related projects such as electrical installation, equipment installation, fabrication of fixtures, and machine troubleshooting
  • Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components for a large variety of equipment in an industrial setting
  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
  • Test electrical systems and components to ensure the proper functioning
  • Calibrate equipment to provided specifications
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and make timely repairs
  • Assisting in the installation and maintenance of a large variety of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic production machines and equipment
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, parameter lists, fault code listings, and troubleshooting guides
  • Identify, and perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities
  • Perform a variety of electrical systems and components, hydraulic, compression airline, plumbing, carpentry, and maintenance functions on a large variety of machines and equipment
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment
  • All other duties as assigned



Qualifications

General Maintenance

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience emphasizing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical skills required
  • Completion of Craft Apprenticeship or industrial maintenance training program or 3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance experience
  • PLC, Robotics, or other automation experience is strongly preferred
  • Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems
  • Must meet harness and SRL (self-retracting lifeline) weight capacity requirements (130 lbs - 310 lbs.)
  • Valid driver's license.

Senior Electrical

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Journeyman Electrician license required + Valid Driver’s License
  • 3+ years of electrician experience required or completion of Craft Apprenticeship
  • 3+ years of Industrial maintenance experience in an industrial setting
  • Extensive electrical experience (120V, 220V, 480V) in an Industrial environment required
  • Electrical control panel experience preferred
  • AC/DC power experience preferred
  • Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
  • Extensive experience with equipment manuals, schematics, parameter lists, fault code listings, and troubleshooting guides
  • CNC, PLC, Robotics, or other automation installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience is strongly preferred
  • Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time

*Completion of a skills assessment test will be required.
