Job Description

Job Title: Engineer Status: NON-EXEMPT
The main function of the Engineer is to performed skilled maintenance and repair duties for the property, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, paint touch ups etc. He or she is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and property are well maintained and in the best possible condition.
Experience & Education:
• Trade school or college course work in a related field preferred
• Previous customer service& hotel experience preferred
• Practical experience in one or more of the technical trades (HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.)
• Requirements:

• Ability to work:
• With various pieces of equipment such as computer, telephone, two way radios, TVs, maintenance equipment etc.
• Under variable temperature conditions
• Under variable noise levels
• Outdoors/indoors
• Around chemicals, fumes and other odor hazards, dust or mite hazards
Physical Requirements:
• Long hours sometimes required
• Must be able to move quickly and agilely if a situation requiring quick assistance arises
• Multi Task
• Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
• Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels
• Oral and Written Comprehension and Expression
