Earn $19.75 (+10% Shift Differential) per hour and up to 3 weeks of paid time off in your first year!

2nd Shift is from 3:00pm to 11:300pm - Monday through Friday

What You'll Do

Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Mount Juliet Distribution Warehouse. Under limited supervision, performs an array of semi-skilled functions that support the maintenance of the facility and its warehouse equipment; and performs related duties as assigned.

  • Troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement
  • Performs preventative building maintenance duties, including light construction
  • Performs routine plumbing repairs, such as; unstoppping toilets, sinks, or urinals, fixing water leaks and leaking faucets
  • Performs routine electrical repairs, such as; changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps
  • Assembles and moves furniture, hangs pictures and bulletin boards, and moves and sets up tables and chairs
  • Repairs and replaces doorknobs or locks, repairs door closures, and patches holes in walls
  • Paints interior and exterior of building
  • Ability to drive all equipment and knowledge of hydraulics.
  • Maintains conveyors (oiling chains and adjusting settings)

What We're Looking For

Skills and Conditions of Employment:

Maintenance Technicians are required to interact with managers, supervisors, employees, vendors, and customers. Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements of the position:

  • Prefer 1-year previous experience in Industrial Maintenance
  • Knowledge of building maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety
  • Skilled in reading and following assembly directions
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and leadership
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work the 2nd shift work schedule: Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm CT.
  • This position requires schedule flexibility, as dictated by business demand and available resources including overtime at times
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to pass required OSHA CERTIFIED Written Test
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment basic aptitude driving test
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

Ability to count accurately and efficiently
