Job Description

The Manager of Field Services is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance and construction department. This role manages the coordination and execution of clients’ large-scale construction and maintenance projects while supporting the administrative and operational success of the department.

The Manager works closely with Boards of Directors, homeowners, community managers, administrators, third-party vendors, and partner banks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet client expectations. This role contributes to strengthening client relationships and supporting revenue growth. The Manager operates with moderate independence while collaborating closely with senior leadership.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support business development efforts by promoting Project Services to community managers and clients and contributing to achieving budget goals
  • Assist with client retention initiatives by helping strengthen client relationships and delivering value-added services
  • Support large-scale projects by collaborating with leadership and helping position the company as a preferred provider
  • Partner with Boards of Directors by assisting with project planning, vendor coordination, and project execution
  • Attend meetings, site inspections, and provide updates to stakeholders as needed
  • Help develop and maintain department tools, templates, and processes for consistency and efficiency
  • Ensure assigned projects meet client expectations regarding timelines, communication, billing, and quality standards
  • Coordinate and support project managers and staff to ensure successful project completion
  • Assist in staff supervision and development, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Serve as a communication liaison between Boards, homeowners, vendors, and internal teams
  • Conduct on-site inspections, status checks, and coordinate meetings with project stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress and assist with maintaining budgets, timelines, and quality standards
  • Support financial planning activities, including budgets and funding coordination with clients
  • Prepare and maintain clear, concise project status reports
  • Support administrative team functions related to project execution
  • Identify potential at-risk clients and escalate concerns while supporting retention strategies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5–7 years of related or transferable experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong business communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • Knowledge of professional correspondence standards (grammar, punctuation, structure)
  • Understanding of conflict resolution techniques
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills
  • Solid project management skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player
  • Ability to interpret and execute verbal and written instructions
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
