About the role:

The Rail Maintenance team is currently seeking a Rail Bound Plant Maintainer to join them on a 14 Day on, 14 Day off Roster days only based at Port Hedland. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for providing development of business predictive, preventative, planned maintenance strategies and practices.

Duties:

• Provide rail maintenance and monitoring expertise to the infrastructure team
• Identify and recommend projects, initiatives and direct activities that lead to continuous improvement of safety, costs and production in line with Hancock Iron Ore goals
• Maintain compliance with all company and statutory regulations in regard to safety, environment and attendance of meetings
• Capture and Monitor work orders, history and time recordings electronically in SAP

Skills and Experience:

• Australian recognised Trade Certification or relevant Industry experience
• Proficient skills operating tampers, regulators and track measurement vehicles
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
• Analyse technical data, use of software and computer systems
