About The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Maintainer to join the Narrabri CHPP maintenance team.
What You’ll Do
• Undertake mechanical maintenance activities on shift as needed
• Work collaboratively with your crew members, assisting where required and be a positive influence in high performance behaviour in the workplace
• Support site HSEC policy and procedures, following safe work procedures as set out for the work process
• Inspection of the work area and plant for hazards, damage and defects
• Contribute to improvement projects around the CHPP
What You’ll Bring
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, experience and qualities:
• Mechanical trade certification, boilermaker also advantageous
• Working at heights / Confined Space / Gas Testing
• Experience of process plant and equipment, including
- Conveyors & Crushers
- Pumps
- Reclaim Tunnels and Valves
- Vibrating Screens and Feeders
- Bulldozers, Loader and Bobcat
