Plant Maintenance Mechanic I

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform timely repairs.
• Inspect, adjust, and replace mechanical components as needed.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and maintenance teams to support operational goals.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and follow all safety procedures.

What Are We Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Commitment to working safely and following established protocols.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
