Maintenance Mechanic I

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform maintenance and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screens, and other aggregate processing equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues to maximize equipment uptime and plant performance.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to improve reliability and reduce unexpected downtime.
• Support safe and efficient quarry and plant operations through timely equipment maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all company safety procedures.

What Are We Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools, welding, cutting, or fabrication techniques applicable to plant equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and operational excellence.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to support production goals.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
