We're seeking talented individuals to help us grow in the rapidly expanding utility industry. Since 2003, we've led the way in advanced field services and solutions, empowering utilities to maximize their infrastructure investments. Our mission is to enhance the safety, sustainability, and reliability of the nation's energy assets and natural resources. At Hydromax USA, you'll work with smart, passionate people to solve complex problems using innovative solutions. Together, we'll create a digital environment that modernizes and improves utility operations. Join us in making the world a better place by understanding the present and protecting the future.
Your role as a Mainline Crew Lead – Crossbore involves operating closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection equipment and robotic systems to assess sewer collection system. You will be responsible for capturing detailed video footage, generating accurate condition reports, and entering inspection data into a GIS database while ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy. As the crew lead, you will also oversee daily field operations, coordinate with team members to ensure project timelines and safety protocols are met, and support efforts to identify and prevent crossbore risks within sewer and stormwater infrastructure. This position reports directly to the Field Operations Manager and plays a critical role in the integrity and safety of underground utility systems.
Hydromax USA Vaccination Requirement
This position requires compliance with Hydromax USA’s vaccination safety program due to potential exposure-related health risks. New hires must either provide documentation of previously completed required vaccinations or complete the required vaccinations within the first 30 days of employment.
Required vaccinations include: Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, and TDAP/Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Acellular Pertussis).
Regional & Work Environment Considerations
This role involves working along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas. Crews must follow strict safety protocols and be aware of roadside hazards. Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions. Expect outdoor challenges and changing weather conditions. This means adapting to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.
Qualifications: Primary Responsibilities
Because all field personnel may be required to operate company or DOT-regulated vehicles at any time, maintaining driver eligibility is mandatory. A valid driver’s license and obtaining a medical clearance to drive DOT-regulated vehicles (DOT Medical Certification) is considered an essential function of employment in field operations. Employees must obtain this medical certification within 90 days of hire and maintain it as a condition of continued employment. Failure to obtain or maintain driver eligibility or medical clearance may affect employment status and/or eligibility for certain job assignments, unless given a Human Resources accommodation.
At Hydromax USA, we’re committed to a culture that embraces safety and strives for excellence. We achieve this through focusing on continuous improvement, promoting employee development, and building lasting customer relationships through mutual trust and honesty. All of this is accomplished while safely providing customers with unequaled customer service and exceeding expectations through deliverables.
We stand firmly behind our mission statement – “Understand the Present, Protect the Future”. In our industry when work is sloppy or incomplete, it can directly impact public safety. Therefore, the work we do is extremely important, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards possible. As a Hydromax USA employee, you will be on the front lines of customer service and public safety.
