Mainframe System Analyst (P&C Insurance)

Contract: January 2026 – December 2026

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe System Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) retail insurance to support business and IT alignment within a complex application landscape.
In this role, you will translate business needs into clear IT requirements, work closely with Agile teams, and ensure high-quality delivery through testing and validation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into IT requirements
Analyze and document requirements for front-end and back-end integrated systems
Develop a strong understanding of the application landscape and system interdependencies
Support and execute testing activities to validate deliverables
Review and validate technical changes (including COBOL code updates)
Work closely with:
Product Owners
Business Analysts
Architects
Developers (including offshore teams)
Ensure clear communication across multilingual and cross-functional teams
Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Experience
Core Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis within insurance
Strong experience in P&C (Property & Casualty) retail insurance (mandatory)
Minimum 5 years of experience in mainframe environments
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:

COBOL (including ability to review code changes)

Understanding of mainframe application architecture and integrations
Analysis & Testing
Ability to produce clear, structured, and accurate functional analysis
Experience with test preparation and execution
Communication & Collaboration
Strong communication skills across technical and business teams
Experience working in Agile environments
Languages
Fluent in French and English (mandatory)
