Job Description

The contractor coordinates and controls the implementation of business requirements in line with the ABS (Allianz Business System) strategy and architecture until acceptance from the relevant business department. The work packages and the time of completion are agreed regularly in coordination with the contact person named in the contract, as part of an agile procedure.

For the documentation of the work packages, the standard tools are used according to a defined Allianz Germany procedure model. The programming guidelines of Allianz Germany are used for development services. The achievements are considered accomplished when the final status of requirements, defects and IPMs in the according tool is reached.

The contractor provides the service in the following environment:

• Area of responsibility: IT
• Programming languages: Micro Focus PL/1, SQL, IBM DB2
• System: ABS
• Projects: ABS-Enterprise Edition, ABS goes Linux and other functional Projects
• Organizational unit: A-CT105 OAC P2
• Product lines: Property/Health

Work packages may include the following services:

• Analysis and evaluation of the technical requirements regarding completeness, consistency, and feasibility
• Updating and creating the developer documentation, IT concepts and API descriptions. In addition, keeping the wiki and project documentation up to date.
• Implementation of PL/1 modules
  • Creation of technical concepts
  • Technical implementation of requirements
  • Technical documentation of all changes
• Creation and execution of database corrections in the ABS test systems
• Managing the unit-mailbox, including prioritization and information management
• Participate in regular meetings to exchange information about the current state of the accepted work packages and discuss issues
• AI exposure will be add-on advantage.

Necessary Know-How

• Experienced in ABS batch development
  • (long-term experience in ABS projects and certification – min. ABS L1)
• Excellent PL/1 programming skills
• Excellent SQL and DB2 skills
