Job Description

As a Mailroom/Facilities Associate, you will handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, copy requests and deliver mail to the local post office. In this position you would work under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Process payment and handle invoicing, including syncing data from FedEx, UPS, and USPS
  • Manage PO Box payments and related administrative tasks
  • Communicate with vendors regarding machine maintenance and repair
  • Utilize computer systems for tracking, reporting, and data entry, ensuring accurate and timely updates
  • Sort all incoming mail into appropriate mail slots
  • Organize and scan packages received from UPS, Fed Ex and DSI using Arrival software
  • Organize and post all outgoing mail using Pitney Bowes Postage Machine and Accent software
  • Deliver mail to all departments at scheduled times
  • Handle copy requests from various departments
  • Assist the facilities crew when needed (i.e. snowplowing, furniture moving, etc.); requires working and driving outside in all types of weather

$20.26 - $24.32 per hour (dependent on experience)

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid NJ driver’s license
  • Ability to operate various size trucks and forklift (training will be provided)
  • The ability to operate copy and mail handling machines including the related software that accompanies them
  • Ability to multi-task, lift/carry packages weighing up to 70 pounds
