About This Role

The Mail Courier is responsible for accurately sorting, processing, and delivering mail and packages across the organization. This role ensures timely distribution of all incoming and outgoing materials, maintains mailroom documentation, and supports special delivery or service requests. The position may require lifting, managing mailroom supply inventory, and ensuring secure handling of all items.

Responsibilities

·Receive, sort, and organize incoming mail and packages by department, recipient, or category

·Deliver mail, packages, and interoffice correspondence to designated departments or pickup locations

·Identify, resolve, and properly route misdirected or incorrectly addressed items

·Dispose of outdated, unsolicited, or noncompliant materials in accordance with company policies

·Maintain accurate mailroom logs, records, and supply inventories

·Provide customer service support for mail-related questions, special requests, or urgent deliveries

·Assist with general mailroom upkeep to ensure a clean, efficient, and safe working environment

Qualifications

·Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

·High level of integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality

·Ability to read, interpret, and clearly label a wide range of printed materials

·Proficiency in typing, basic computer use, and data entry

·Effective verbal communication and customer service skills

·Experience working in an office environment required

·Prior mailroom or clerical experience preferred
