Job Description

Service Center

CSCS TX

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and interoffice correspondence on a daily basis
  • Prepare and process outgoing mail, including labeling, postage, and coordination with shipping vendors (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS)
  • Maintain accurate logs and tracking for all incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and pickup of materials
  • Manage mailroom supplies and maintain inventory (envelopes, labels, postage, etc.)
  • Handle certified, registered, and confidential mail in accordance with company policies
  • Assist with bulk mailings, company communications, and special distribution projects
  • Resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies with carriers
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and secure mailroom environment
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and stocked office stations
  • Support administrative or facilities-related tasks as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience in mailroom, administrative support, or logistics preferred
  • Basic knowledge of shipping systems and carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, or similar systems)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 20–30 lbs
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day
