Registry position requires a minimum of 32 hours of availability for every 4-week schedule.
Availability must include 1-2 weekend shifts- based on needs of department.
Pay Range
$38.20 - $57.30
Position Requirements:
ARRT, ARMRIT registered as an MR technologist
OR
ARRT registry eligible or unlimited state license, and
6 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience and registered within 6 months of hire date. ~~Working knowledge of MRI console to perform medical MRI

~American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
or

~Holiday call~ins in order to accommodate patient and staff needs.
~Ability to sit, stand for extended periods of time.

This position will need to recognize needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups of patients treated, i.e., understand child growth and development, normal patterns of adolescent behavior and look for signs of normal aging prior experience with various age groups is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.
Purpose:
Perform a wide variety of procedures for patients utilizing magnetic resonance imaging to aid in the diagnosis of disease or injury. Provide service to inpatients, outpatients and emergency room patients.
Accountabilities:
Responsible for performing MRI exams ensuring optimal diagnostic quality of images.
Responsible for securing pertinent medical history from the patient, for each MRI procedure, in order to obtain accurate medical information for film interpretation.
Complies with established hospital/MRI Department safety standards.
Responsible for documentation of departmental records and proper upkeep of supplies and equipment as per departmental procedure.
Possess the degree of knowledge/skill necessary to perform various other job~related functions.
