Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Magic Orange Consultant to join our team and drive our IT Financial Management (ITFM) and FinOps initiatives. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for optimizing our IT and cloud cost management strategies, ensuring efficient operations, and providing valuable insights to our clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our ITFM & FinOps platform.

• Analyze and optimize IT and cloud cost structures, including infrastructure, applications, licenses, and cloud services.
• Utilize MagicOrange software to provide comprehensive ITFM and FinOps solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique cost management challenges and goals.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of cloud billing data and consumption models to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, finance, and business stakeholders, to align cost management strategies with business objectives.
• Implement best practices and frameworks for FinOps, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Document and communicate IT cost structures, providing clear and concise reports and recommendations to clients.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their impact on cost management.
• Support the development and enhancement of our ITFM & FinOps platform, providing valuable feedback and insights.

• 1-3+ years of experience in ITFM, FinOps, cloud cost management, or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with MagicOrange software is a must.
• A strong understanding of IT cost structures, including infra, apps, licenses, and cloud services.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their billing mechanisms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering cost-effective solutions.
• Good communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Exposure to FinOps frameworks or best practices is preferred.
• Experience with CMDB, ERP, or financial systems is an asset.
• Familiarity with cloud billing tools and consumption models is advantageous.
• A collaborative and growth-oriented mindset, with a passion for learning and staying updated with industry trends.
