Job Bridge Global is excited to partner with an esteemed shipbuilding company known for its innovation and quality. This company specializes in constructing various types of vessels, integrating the latest technology in marine engineering and fabrication.

We are seeking multiple skilled MAG Welders who have experience in shipbuilding to join their team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and quality of the vessels they manufacture. As a MAG Welder, you will be responsible for executing welding tasks in accordance with specifications and standards set by the marine industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MAG welding on steel and other materials used in shipbuilding.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
• Ensure weld quality meets company and industry standards.
• Conduct welding operations while maintaining safety and efficiency.
• Inspect welds for defects and make necessary corrections.
• Collaborate with fabricators and other welders to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal functionality.
• Follow safety guidelines to prevent workplace accidents.
• Document work completed and report any discrepancies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a MAG Welder, preferably in the shipbuilding sector.
• Certification in MIG/MAG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of welding machinery and tools.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Good physical condition and stamina to work in various environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to adhere to safety standards and regulations.
• Flexibility to work overtime or shifts if necessary.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
