About Your Company

Our partner is a leading property developer with a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Asia Pacific. We are seeking an experienced Economist to provide strategic market intelligence and economic analysis to support our development and investment decisions in the property market.

About your role

• Conduct macro economic analysis relevant to real estate markets

• Develop and maintain econometric models for market forecasting

• Analyze property market cycles, pricing trends, and demand-supply dynamics

• Research demographic trends, migration patterns, and their impact on real estate

• Evaluate potential development sites and new market opportunities

• Produce regular market reports and presentations for senior management

• Monitor policy changes and assess their impact on property markets

• Support feasibility studies and financial modeling for new developments

• Collaborate with various departments including acquisitions, development, and sales

What you will need to succeed

• Master's degree in Economics, Real Estate, or related field

• 8+ years of experience in real estate economics or research

• Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in statistical analysis

• Experience with econometric modeling and forecasting

• Excellent knowledge of property markets and development cycles

• Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, R, Python, or similar)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Superior written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with GIS mapping software is a plus
