**Job Title: Machinist Tool & Die Maker**

**Job Summary:**
Ventamatic is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist Tool & Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining a variety of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in production processes. This role requires precision, a strong understanding of machinery, and the ability to work from blueprints and specifications to ensure high-quality and efficient manufacturing operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to make and repair metal parts, tools, or machines.
- Construct tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and customer requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of tools and dies to ensure optimal functionality and prevent production delays.
- Inspect and test completed tools and dies to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tool designs and manufacturing processes.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Adhere to all safety instructions and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Machinist Tool & Die Maker or similar role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of machining tools and equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Relevant technical or vocational training is a plus.
