What you will do

• Disassemble, position, reassemble, test, and paint moderate to highly complex engine and compressor equipment
• Use a wide range of mechanical tools and equipment safely and accurately
• Set up and run test operations following engineering specifications
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance and repairs
• Conduct risk assessments before starting work and moving materials
• Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies, and report problems or hazardous conditions right away
• Keep your work area and the facility’s equipment and tooling clean, organized, operational, and safe
• Complete required documentation and business training accurately and on time
• Work closely with your team and take on additional duties as assigned

Who you are

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0–2 years of experience in mechanical test and assembly/disassembly, or heavy equipment repair and maintenance
• Able to read and interpret drawings, prints, schematics, and engineering specifications
• Basic math skills, and familiarity with tools and equipment operation
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and good housekeeping practices
• Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, and perform other physical tasks
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
• Valid driver’s license
• A team player with mechanical aptitude and attention to detail who can work independently to engineering specifications

Preferred

• 2 years of experience in operations or service center applications
• Strong knowledge of natural gas engine and compressor equipment
