As a Milling Machinist (Fresatore), you will set up and operate CNC and manual milling machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances. You will bring craftsmanship, attention to detail, and problem-solving to ensure the quality and reliability of every part.
You will be part of a skilled machining team that partners with engineering and operations to produce high-precision components and drive continuous improvement in machining processes.
•Set up and operate CNC and manual milling machines to produce precision parts
•Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T to plan machining sequences
•Select tooling, set offsets, and adjust speeds and feeds to meet specifications
•Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
•Perform first-article and in-process inspections to ensure quality
•Maintain equipment and perform routine machine upkeep
•Recommend process and tooling improvements
•Technical diploma or vocational training in machining/mechanics, or equivalent experience
•2+ years of experience operating milling machines (CNC and/or manual)
•Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
•Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
•Strong attention to detail and quality focus
•Experience with CNC programming and setup (e.g., Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens controls)
•Familiarity with CAM software
•Experience machining tight-tolerance components in a high-mix or regulated environment
•Knowledge of tooling optimization and machining best practices
