As a Machinist, you will set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances. You will bring craftsmanship and problem-solving to ensure the quality and reliability of every part you produce.
You will be part of a skilled machining team that partners with engineering and operations to produce high-precision components and continuously improve machining processes.
•Set up and operate CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes) to produce precision parts
•Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T to plan machining sequences
•Select tooling, set offsets, and adjust speeds and feeds
•Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality
•Perform first-article and in-process inspections
•Maintain equipment and perform routine machine upkeep
•Recommend process and tooling improvements
•High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred
•2+ years of machining experience (CNC and/or manual)
•Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
•Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
•Strong attention to detail and quality focus
•Experience with CNC programming and setup (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, etc.)
•Familiarity with CAM software
•Experience machining tight-tolerance parts in a high-mix or regulated environment
•Knowledge of tooling optimization and machining best practices
