Role: Machinist

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensure the safe operation of machinery at all times

• Comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and practices

• Work collaboratively as part of the production team to meet output targets

• Follow quality management systems to ensure product standards are met

• Provide a reliable and efficient service in line with company policies

• Be flexible to support other machines or areas when needed

• Work in line with lean manufacturing principles and quality standards

Who we’re looking for:

• Good communication skills and attention to detail

• A willingness to learn and develop new skills

• IT literate, happy working with Microsoft packages

• Confident working to standard operating procedures with minimal supervision

• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and measure accurately

• Capability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• A good understanding of quality standards and health & safety in a production setting

• Experience working to production targets and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment
