Machinist

Rosen Aviation is looking for an experienced Machinist to perform production activities and routine operations using CNC or manual machines.
Qualifications
The right candidate will:
· Accept/reject finished work pieces
· Set up and operate Haas/Makino vertical 3- axis CNC machining centers
· Interpret part drawings and verify part dimensions
· Track/record appropriate job data
Qualifications and Critical Skills:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1 year machine shop experience or a vocational/technical training certificate
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
· Knowledge of proper use of hand tools, micrometers, calipers, gauges and indicators
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Physical, Ergonomic & Environmental Considerations:
· Primarily works in a factory environment with constant exposure to noise and machinery
· Constantly positions self to maintain and clean CNC and manual machines, including under and inside the machines
· Occasionally operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
· Occasionally exposed to hazardous chemicals
· Frequently moves materials and parts weighing up to 75 pounds across machine shop floor
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
