As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment including CNC Lathes, Mills, Grinders, Drills, EDMs, Hones, and performing Fit and Lap operations. This role involves setting up machines, executing operator-level functions, and ensuring the quality of all work through thorough inspection.
To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
Education & Experience:
A. Completed at least 3rd year engineering course + General machine shop course; or
B. Engineering course graduate + 2 years machining experience; or
C. Mechanical Technology/Electromechanical Technology/Tool and Die Technology/Industrial Technology Major in Machine Shop graduate; or
D. High school graduate or other courses + Machine shop course + 2 years machining experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
1. Blueprint reading
2. Metrology
3. Working knowledge of the Lean Management System, Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement as well as Zero Defect Mindset supporting the Moog Quality System.
