Job Title: Machinist (Turner / Lathe Operator)
We are looking for an experienced Machinist with a background in the steel industry. The candidate should have hands-on experience operating turning or lathe machines and be able to produce precision components as per drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up lathe/turner machines for machining steel components
Read and understand technical drawings and measurements
Ensure accuracy, quality, and safety in all machining operations
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Meet production targets and quality standards
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Machinist in a steel company
Strong experience in operating lathe or turning machines
Knowledge of measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, etc.)
Ability to work independently and in a team
ITI / Diploma in Machining or relevant trade is preferred
