This role requires deep technical expertise, hands‑on machining capability, and strong project leadership to deliver world‑class manufacturing solutions.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about innovation, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is driven to develop robust machining processes, mentor technical teams, and collaborate across engineering, quality, and manufacturing functions.

Key Responsibilities

Machining Process Development

  • Conceptualize and develop end‑to‑end machining processes for diverse CNC equipment, from initial planning to full‑scale production.
  • Set up, adjust, optimize, and program Swiss‑Type CNC lathes for small‑diameter, tight‑tolerance components.
  • Perform model changeovers, bar feeder setups, spindle/sub‑spindle programming, and troubleshooting (100% hands-on).
  • Develop and validate grinding processes using centerless grinders and CNC grinding machines, including wheel stone changeovers.
  • Program and configure machining centers, including setups, adjustments, and complete tool configuration.
  • Train and mentor lead technicians and operators, ensuring proficiency in machining, programming, and advanced manufacturing processes.

Fixture, Tooling & Programming

  • Design custom fixtures and select tooling; collaborate with suppliers to source and validate components.
  • Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam, Esprit, or similar CAM software
  • Conduct machining prove‑outs to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and productivity.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Quality team to establish robust inspection methods aligned with GD&T requirements.
  • Lead final system runoffs to validate complete machining solutions before production release.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Support new product development and launch activities, ensuring manufacturability and alignment with plant capabilities.

Technical Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend materials and processes based on experience, data, and industry knowledge.
  • Partner with equipment suppliers to develop custom machining solutions.
  • Perform calculations and software-driven analyses to validate process capability and sustainability.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance safety, reduce cost, and improve product quality.
  • Create and maintain documentation packages for development and pre‑production activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in CNC machining and process development.
  • Strong CNC programming skills (Mastercam, Esprit, or similar).
  • Advanced knowledge of GD&T
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (NX, SolidWorks) and familiarity with PDM tools (e.g., Teamcenter).
  • Ability to model and analyze manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machining, fixture design, metalworking, grinding, and related processes.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
  • Proficient English.
