Are you ready to break through traditional boundaries and drive operational excellence at the highest level? As an Onsite Machine Repair Specialist at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, you will serve as the frontline engine of manufacturing reliability, taking complete ownership of mission-critical equipment to eliminate unplanned downtime. In this role, you will redefine what superior service looks like by performing rigorous preventative maintenance, condition assessments, and dynamic diagnostics on complex industrial machine tools. By challenging the status quo and targeting the root causes of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues, you will transform equipment performance into a benchmark of total operational readiness.
This position demands a true technical champion who thrives at the intersection of hands-on expertise and continuous learning. You will interpret complex schematics, execute precise calibrations, and harness advanced PLC diagnostics to resolve intricate equipment challenges safely and efficiently. Beyond immediate technical repairs, your breakthrough mindset will elevate the entire facility: you will deliver high-impact technical guidance and training to customer maintenance teams, turning everyday maintenance into long-term strategic advantage. Every inspection, repair, and control adjustment you execute will set a new standard for precision, safety, and asset longevity.
As a trusted representative of Phillips Corporation, you will bridge technical mastery with exceptional partnership, ensuring seamless coordination between customer teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. You will maintain meticulous discipline in your digital reporting—leveraging our CRM and business platforms to deliver transparent, data-driven insights that inform smart operational decisions.
