In this senior technical role, you'll lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance efforts, provide technical guidance to team members, and help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations. While performing the duties of the Machine Repair Technician Level 3, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate effectively. The employee is frequently required to climb ladders, work at heights, balance, and work in confined spaces. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires the ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions on an active airport environment. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Good hand-eye coordination is required.
The work environment is similar to an active airport operation with vehicular traffic and heavy equipment. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, outdoor weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, and loud noise. Employees may work on airport ramps around aircraft, in mechanical rooms, utility spaces, maintenance shops, rooftops, and other facility environments while supporting critical airport infrastructure.
