To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Machine Programing Lead located in Dallas, Texas.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Machine Programing Lead is responsible for leading a team of programmers responsible for program development, design interpretation, machine set ups, trouble shooting and quality control.

Work environment: Manufacturing Setting

Shift Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

What a typical day looks like:

  • Oversees the work of assigned team employees

  • Addresses minor discipline problems with team members; refers more serious cases to the supervisor

  • Assists with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new team members in partnership with the training specialist and team trainer

  • Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members skills and experience

  • Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments

  • Inspects work performed by team members

  • Partner with supervisor or production manager to resolve any issues that arise within department.

  • Create and edit CNC programs for machining parts and components using AP100 and VPSSRi systems.

  • Interpret design specifications, blueprints, and CAD models to develop CNC programs.

  • Set up and test CNC machines to ensure accurate and efficient production.

  • Identify and resolve programming and machining issues.

  • Ensure machined parts meet quality and precision standards.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 5+ years experience as a CNC programmer or machinist with AP100 and VPSSRi systems

  • Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code) and CAD/CAM software, with experience in AP100 and VPSSRi systems

  • Certifications in CNC programming or machining

  • Familiarity with specific CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

  • Understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with design teams and production staff
